We stopped here for an early evening bite before a show. Very convenient- just outside the station and very close to the Apollo. It was quiet when we arrived , but clearly getting busy. Good food , friendly staff. All fine

This is a great restaurant. Food was very delicious with wide options for all of us. Although it was a bit busy they still offered a lot of attention. You didn’t even need to top up water. Service and food was amazing. We will most certainly recommend them further.

I saw the positive reviews, so I decided to have dinner here last week. Most of the food tasted very nice, but the portions were smaller than expected for the price. Even after spending almost £30 per person, we didn’t feel fully satisfied. We ordered Truffled Arancini, Volcano Shrimps with Korean sauce, a flat iron steak, and the prawn and lime risotto. The Truffled Arancini tasted excellent, but there were only three, and they were quite small. The Volcano Shrimps were perfect. I requested the flat iron steak to be cooked medium, but it tasted bland. The risotto was more satisfying in comparison, but unfortunately, there were fragments of shrimp shells on my plate. The service was mediocre, in my opinion. The waiter wasn’t very welcoming but wasn’t hostile either. Although it wasn’t particularly busy at the time, we had to wait for the waiter a while whenever we needed assistance. On a positive note, the atmosphere was lovely, and the lighting was perfect. Overall, I think it’s slightly overpriced but might consider returning for a fancy meal occasionally. If they improve the portion sizes and the service, I’d be very happy to become a regular customer.

I had an exceptional dining experience at Chez Maiss. We started our meal with a trio of delicious fried calamari, Volcano shrimp, and Truffle Arancini cheese balls—each bursting with flavor and perfectly prepared. For the main course, we enjoyed the sea bass, chicken tagine, and Shish Tawook chicken with chips. Every dish was absolutely sensational. Host and Chef Al.Fadil were warm and welcoming, adding a personal touch to the evening. I can’t recommend Chez Maiss enough—this place is a true culinary gem!

Divine little gem hidden in a beautiful location! Tad pricey but if you want the best service and impeccable food then go here! That seabass was divine. The owner is lovely and gorgeous too! These fries were the best fries I've had in my life. Can't wait to come back here.

We went there twice in a week. The stuff is really polite and the manager there is TOP. Really nice environment. You should try the truffle pasta. And again, the manager is really really helpful. This is now our own favorite spot in London Hammersmith.
